OUR PARTNERS ABROAD

HOW WE COLLABORATE

We have a personal and friendly relationship with our producers in India. This is also part of sustainable production. We can only achieve holistic change together with our local partners who share our values and our vision for a more sustainable textile industry.

You don't get far alone. The common goal of a sustainable textile industry requires strong partners and the willingness to take responsibility.

Like our main Indian textile producer, which was the first clothing factory in the world to obtain Fairtrade Textile Standard certification.

We are in close contact with all our producers, including regular visits to the production sites. We have decided to keep as much of the added value as possible in the country of origin of the raw material. From organic cotton cultivation to the finished fabric, all production stages take place in India. This means we have particularly short transport routes and can produce under the best ecological and social conditions.

Our program

Together with our textile producer in India, we are pilot partners and licensees of the Fairtrade Textile Standard. For the first time, we are introducing living wages, and therefore significantly higher wages than the usual minimum wages, along the entire supply chain.
Inspired by the "Cradle to Cradle" design principle, we are constantly optimizing our products. The goal is to use 100% natural, plastic-free materials and accessories. Our achievements, which are costly but particularly environmentally friendly, include iron-on interlinings, labels, and sewing threads made of cotton, as well as corozo buttons, instead of environmentally harmful petroleum-based polyester or plastic materials.
