GOTS organic cotton mid-calf embroidered socks

GOTS Organic Cotton Mid-Calf Embroidered Socks

"Super Sustainable Socks". The GOTS organic cotton mid-calf embroidered socks are free from polyamide and polyester, making them super sustainable. They don't even use synthetic fibers for the seams, as is usually the case. Unlike traditional socks, they are made of 97% Fairtrade organic cotton and 3% ROICA™ V550. This is an environmentally friendly elastane. The socks also offer a comfortable feel and are seamless, because they are hand-linked and soft to the touch.

Composition: 97% organic cotton, 3% biodegradable elastane
Fabric type: Circular knit
Workmanship: Fine Knit

Garment care:
We recommend washing the Basic 2-Pack Socks on a delicate cycle at 30° to prevent shrinkage and keep the garment in excellent condition. By washing at lower temperatures and air-drying your laundry, you not only save money but also help reduce your environmental impact by saving energy.🌿♻️

Sustainability 🌿

The partner company that manufactures this product is Fairtrade Cotton, Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), and Green Button certified. These three standards complement each other perfectly, allowing us to offer truly sustainable textile products that are respectful of the environment and people.

✔ Fairtrade Cotton: Guarantees compliance with social criteria in cotton cultivation, with a focus on fair wages for farmers. By purchasing a garment with this certification, you support Indian cotton cooperatives with a Fairtrade premium. Furthermore, the company adheres to the new Fairtrade Textile Standard, which promotes living wages throughout the production chain.

✔ Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS): Ensures that throughout the entire production process—from cotton cultivation to fabric dyeing—only ecological substances are used and strict social standards are met, verified by independent certification bodies.

✔ Green Button: This textile seal promoted by the German government verifies social and environmental criteria at both the product and company level, ensuring a concrete commitment to more ethical and responsible fashion.

By choosing this, you are choosing conscious fashion. 💚♻

Production 🧶🌍

The product is made in India, following principles of transparency, fair collaboration, and mutual respect. We don't just ensure fair and safe working conditions during the final production stage, but throughout the entire supply chain: from cotton cultivation to the finished product, we track every step to ensure that social and ecological standards are met. Furthermore, all production stages take place in the countries of origin of the raw materials. This approach allows us to support local economies and minimize transport distances, contributing to a more sustainable production process. 🌱✨
