The company we collaborate with that produces this product is the world's first circular denim brand. By applying the principles of the circular economy, we are reducing our environmental impact.
✔ Recycling: At our partners Recover and Ferre, old jeans are transformed into new yarn. Recover receives old jeans, shreds them, and mixes the recycled fibers with organic cotton. This blended fiber is then spun into new yarn at Ferre.
1 kg of Recover recycled cotton saves up to 2,116 liters of water, 1.79 kg of CO2 emissions, and 3.89 m2 of land use.
✔ We believe in a world where everyone is responsible for cleaning up their own waste. With our circular philosophy, we want to design our products so they can be reused, recycled, and repurposed. That is why we do not use leather labels, but printed ones. Worn-out jeans are shredded, cut into pieces, and mixed with virgin cotton. This is how new MUD Jeans denim yarn is born 🌱✨

✔ Short supply chain: Our goal is to create products that are respectful of the planet and everyone who encounters them. For this reason, we keep our supply chain short and build long-lasting relationships with our suppliers.
✔ Fair wages: We want to offer fair and equal pay to improve the living conditions of everyone working in our supply chain. Therefore, we aim to pay every worker in our supply chain above the minimum wage.
In 2016, we were audited by the Fair Wear Foundation as part of their Young Designer Program. We certainly found areas for improvement, which were addressed through a Corrective Action Plan. In 2022, we completed our third audit with the Social and Labor Convergence Program (SLCP).
✔ Work environment: Anyone who works full-time knows how much the surrounding environment affects our mental and physical health. Through conscious product and production choices, we aim to support our colleagues in the factory by offering them a safe and healthy work environment where their skills can flourish.
